Saroha Manullang Appointed Head of NTT Immigration Office, Replacing Arvin Gumilang

Saroha Manullang has been officially inaugurated as Head of the Directorate General of Immigration Regional Office for East Nusa Tenggara (NTT), replacing Arvin Gumilang. The inauguration and handover ceremony for the Senior Executive Leadership position was held solemnly in the Jusuf Adiwinata Hall on the first floor of the Ministry of Immigration and Corrections Building in Jakarta on Monday (22/6/2026).

Director General of Immigration Hendarsam Marantoko inaugurated 13 Senior Executive Leaders to carry out immigration duties across various regions of Indonesia, including the leadership change at the NTT Immigration Regional Office.

Hendarsam Marantoko stated that the inauguration serves as a periodic refresh. He expressed hope that all appointed officials would be trustworthy and capable of responding to and regaining public confidence.

This moment is considered strategic for strengthening and supervising immigration functions in NTT. The province is a border region that directly interfaces with national sovereignty.

Saroha Manullang previously served as Head of the Administrative and General Affairs Division at the NTT Immigration Regional Office.

“The change of leadership is not merely about the passing of the baton, but about continuing service, strengthening collaboration, and delivering immigration services that are ever closer to the community and increasingly robust in safeguarding national sovereignty in eastern Indonesia,” Saroha said in a press release received by detikBali on Monday.

He affirmed the spirit of ‘Immigration for the people’ and requested support from all parties. “I expect support from all sides so that NTT Immigration can continue to work, serve, and have an impact on the people of NTT,” he added.

Saroha is optimistic about providing services and carrying out tasks that were not yet completed by his predecessor, Arvin Gumilang. “With new leadership, the NTT Immigration Regional Office is optimistic it can continue to be at the forefront of safeguarding national sovereignty, protecting national interests, and providing the best service to the community,” said Saroha.

Arvin Gumilang, who previously served as Head of the NTT Immigration Regional Office, was also inaugurated as Head of the Directorate General of Immigration Regional Office for West Sumatra.
