PT Sarinah has sent off 91 mudik travellers under the Free Mudik Programme for State-Owned Enterprises 2026, heading to Yogyakarta and Surabaya. The programme represents the company’s effort to facilitate safer and more comfortable homecoming travel for the public.

Sarinah’s President Director, Raisha Syarfuan, stated that the departure took place on Tuesday, 17 March 2026, using two buses from different locations in Jakarta.

“The send-off of mudik travellers occurred on Tuesday, 17 March 2026, dispatching 91 travellers using two buses bound for Yogyakarta and Surabaya,” said Raisha.

Raisha explained that departure points were located at Gelora Bung Karno for the Yogyakarta route and the Sarinah Thamrin Building for the Surabaya route. The programme represents the company’s commitment to delivering tangible benefits to the public.

“Mudik is not merely a journey home to one’s hometown; it is also a moment that reunites families and strengthens togetherness,” said Raisha.

In addition to providing transportation, Sarinah equipped the mudik travellers with travel insurance, goodie bags, and comfort support throughout their journey. The programme is expected to help the public undertake mudik travel with greater peace of mind.

During Ramadan, Sarinah has also implemented various Corporate Social and Environmental Responsibility programmes targeting diverse segments of society. These activities encompass sharing initiatives, education, and travel facilitation.

“All these initiatives form part of Sarinah’s commitment to delivering tangible benefits during this meaningful occasion,” said Raisha.

Sarinah previously held a Cheerful Ngabuburit event at Pipilaka, which involved over 200 primary school students in Central Jakarta. The event provided educational experiences for children during Ramadan.

“Sarinah has also launched the Bestie Share Bestie Care initiative, a movement to raise funds and distribute donations to communities within the company’s operational areas,” said Raisha.

Raisha stated that more than 100 food aid packages have been distributed through the programme.
