Sardono to feature latest work

JAKARTA (JP): Noted choreographer Sardono W. Kusumo will feature his latest work at a Bekasi housing estate to inaugurate a Borobudur statue tomorrow.

Well-known sculptor Nyoman Nurta created the statue at the Kota Legenda estate.

"Our efforts to bring these two great artists together reflects our high appreciation of valuable artistic works," Moh. S. Hidayat, president of PT Putra Alvita Pratama which built the housing estate said.

Responding to the remark, Sardono praised the event's porganizers. "In hope my colossal dance performance would give a positive push to other local dance artists and choreographers to continue creating great works that could be enjoyed by the public at large, not only dancing aficionados." (bas)
