SAR Team Evacuates Two Bodies Suspected to Be KM Nurul Salsa Victims in Selayar Waters

The search for victims of the KM Nurul Salsa sinking in the waters of the Selayar Islands continues. A joint SAR team has evacuated two bodies suspected to be victims of the maritime accident and brought them to Soekarno Hatta Port in Makassar. The remains were subsequently handed over to the South Sulawesi Regional Police’s Disaster Victim Identification (DVI) team for identification. Amid the grief still enveloping the victims’ families, the search operation for the 16 people who remain missing is being continued.
