SAR Operation Terminated, Search for Journalists and KM Arupadatu I Crew Ends

The joint SAR team has officially terminated the search and rescue (SAR) operation for the group of journalists and the crew of the fast boat KM Arupadatu I, who lost contact in Carita, Pandeglang, Banten. The operation was called off after lasting for 10 days.

Banten Governor Andra Soni, accompanied by the Head of the Banten Basarnas Office, Al Amrad, and the Commander of Lanal Banten, Lieutenant Colonel (P) Wawan Subagyo Mardani, provided a statement regarding the SAR operation for the journalists and crew members who lost contact in Carita, Pandeglang, Banten, on Thursday (17/9/2026).
