Santika obtains ISO 9002

JAKARTA (JP): The Santika Hotel in Yogyakarta has obtained ISO
9002 certification from the German-based Societe General de
Surveillance International Certification Services.

Santika's general manager Donny Tisnantoro said the hotel
received the ISO certificate on Thursday at its ninth anniversary
celebration.

The Santika Hotel was the first of the four four-star hotels
in Yogyakarta, and also the first hotel under the PT Grahawita
Santika management that obtained the ISO certification for its
quality management system.

Donny said the hotel had achieved this year a 47 percent
occupancy rate for its 155 rooms. He said he was optimistic that
the figure would increase to 58 percent next year.(44/06)
