Santika gets award for tax payments

YOGYAKARTA: The Santika Hotel on Jl. Jend. Sudirman was honored
by the Yogyakarta municipality government on Tuesday for being
the largest taxpayer in the four-star hotel category in the city,
as confirmed by an audit.

Yogyakarta Mayor Herry Zudianto presented Santika accounting
manager J. Nuswarih Anggoromurni with an award during a ceremony
at City Hall, said hotel public relations officer Erma Wheny
Hertuti.

During the ceremony, Nuswarih expressed hope the award would
motivate other companies to increase their level of cooperation
in paying their taxes.

"This would help the municipal government provide better
public facilities," Nuswarih said. -- JP
