Sanex Obtains Halal Certification for 60 Electronic and Kitchen Products

As many as 60 products from PT Indon Surya Kencana, or Sanex, have obtained halal certification from the Halal Product Assurance Organising Body (BPJPH).

BPJPH Head Ahmad Haikal Hasan, also known as Babe Haikal, commended Sanex’s initiative to obtain halal certification for its electronic and kitchen appliance products.

“This is part of an effort to provide reassurance and peace of mind to users,” said Babe Haikal during a discussion in Cawang, East Jakarta, on Thursday (30/4/2026).

With this certification, consumers no longer need to worry whether dishes prepared with halal ingredients might be contaminated by haram elements from electronic items.

“Halal is for everyone; halal has become part of a lifestyle. Halal is the prosperity of life. Halal is modern civilisation,” stated Babe Haikal.

Head of Marketing at PT Indon Surya Kencana, Randhika Churana, said the company applied for halal certification to guarantee consumer tranquillity.

“Achieving halal certification is our commitment to ensuring that the entire production process meets the established standards,” said Randhika.

On the same occasion, BPJPH Halal Certification Director Yanis Naini explained that the halal certification was issued after a process of verification, including raw materials and production stages.

Yanis urged Sanex, as a company that has received halal certification, to continue maintaining consistency in implementing the Halal Product Assurance System (SJPH) across all production stages.
