Sandiaga Uno Eyes Certification Business Prospects Through Investment in MUTU
JAKARTA — Prominent investor and national businessman Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno sees increasingly promising prospects in the certification industry. He believes the growing adoption of sustainability standards across various sectors will drive demand for certification services in Indonesia.
This is one of the reasons Sandiaga has invested in PT Mutuagung Lestari Tbk (MUTU). MUTU is a company operating in certification, inspection, testing and verification for various industrial and trade sectors.
“Indonesia has great potential to become a key player in the green economy. However, that potential must be supported by a system capable of ensuring every process meets globally recognised standards,” said Sandiaga on Friday (24/7).
Sandiaga said companies such as MUTU play an important role in building trust among businesses, governments, investors and global markets. This forms one of the foundations for improving the competitiveness of national industry.
“For us, this investment is not only about the company’s business growth. More than that, we see MUTU as part of the foundation Indonesia needs to boost industrial competitiveness and accelerate the transition towards a green economy,” he said.
