Samudera Indonesia records US$32.52 million net profit in first half
PT Samudera Indonesia Tbk (SMDR) recorded a net profit of US$32.52 million during the first half of 2026, an increase from the US$29.30 million achieved in the same period the previous year. During a public expose in Jakarta on Thursday, SMDR President Director Bani Maulana Mulia explained that the company’s revenue from customer contracts reached US$421.76 million in the first half of 2026, up from US$379.08 million in the corresponding period last year.
In terms of segments, the company’s revenue was driven by transport services amounting to US$273.86 million, followed by agency, forwarding, and port activities contributing US$57.98 million. Additionally, revenue from time-based vessel chartering contributed US$46.24 million, container and cargo handling services provided US$33.96 million, and other revenues accounted for US$9.72 million.
Regarding the balance sheet, total company assets were recorded at US$1.48 billion in the first half of 2026, an increase from US$1.43 billion in the same period last year. Meanwhile, total liabilities were recorded at US$694.19 million, with total equity standing at US$1.48 billion.
Samudera Indonesia has also decided to distribute an interim dividend of Rp40.94 billion, equivalent to Rp2.5 per share, for the 2026 fiscal year. The dividend schedule includes the cum-dividend date in the regular and negotiation markets on 7 August 2026, with the ex-dividend date on 10 August 2026. For the cash market, the cum-dividend date is 11 August 2026, with the ex-dividend date on 12 August 2026. The recording date for shareholders is set for 11 August 2026 at 16:00 WIB. The interim dividend payment is scheduled for 29 August 2026.
