Samsung to introduce anti-fraud feature on more devices
Jakarta (ANTARA) - Samsung will introduce an artificial intelligence-based feature to prevent online fraud on more Galaxy devices. According to a Gizmochina report on Saturday (11/4), the feature, which has been introduced on the Galaxy S26 series, is currently only available to users in the United States. The latest findings from code strings in the Google Phone app (version 217 beta) indicate that Samsung may bring this feature to more devices, including the Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Galaxy Z Flip 8. The appearance of several international model numbers suggests that Samsung is preparing a global launch of the feature. Samsung is building the anti-fraud feature with support from Google’s Gemini AI model, which runs directly on the device (on-device). With this technology, conversation analysis is performed inside the phone without needing to send data to external servers, thereby better protecting user privacy. Samsung is integrating the anti-fraud feature into its built-in Phone app. A similar feature has already been available on Google Pixel devices.
