Jakarta (ANTARA) - Samsung has announced that its latest smartphones from the A series, the Galaxy A37 and Galaxy A57, will be released next week. Based on a post from the @SamsungIndia account on platform X, quoted on Saturday (21/3), both new A series Samsung phones will be launched on 25 March 2026 at 17:30 Indian time or 18:30 WIB. Discussing previously circulating information, leaks of the specifications for both devices have already been revealed. For screen size, the Galaxy A37 and Galaxy A57 do not differ. Both are said to have a 6.7-inch screen with a Super AMOLED panel at FHD+ resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate. On the rear, the triple camera configuration is retained with details of a 50MP main camera and a 5MP macro camera. Differences start to appear in the ultra-wide lens, with the Galaxy A37 known to have an 8MP lens while the Galaxy A57 has a 12MP lens. The main rear camera and front camera on both phones are estimated to be able to record HDR video up to 4K 30 fps. In terms of power support, both the Galaxy A37 and Galaxy A57 are supported by a 5000mAh battery and fast charging using a 45W cable. In terms of performance, differences are evident again. The Galaxy A57 uses the Exynos 1680 chip while the Galaxy A37 uses the Exynos 1480 chip. Both devices will have 8GB RAM and 256GB ROM and will run the One UI 8.5 operating system based on Android 16. Regarding pricing, leaks from Thailand indicate that the Galaxy A37 5G with 8GB RAM and 256GB ROM is estimated to cost 13,999 Thai baht, around Rp7.3 million. Meanwhile, the Galaxy A57, according to promotional material leaks, costs 17,999 Thai baht (around Rp9.4 million) for the variant with 12GB RAM and 256GB ROM.
