Samsung recruits two AI experts to strengthen semiconductor competitiveness
Samsung Electronics Co. said on Friday (14/8) that it has recruited two experts in artificial intelligence (AI) and data engineering to strengthen its AI capabilities in its semiconductor business. The first is Han Bo-hyung, a professor at Seoul National University and a leading expert in deep learning and vision AI. He will lead the development of AI models dedicated to semiconductor research and development (R&D). Samsung plans to expand the use of AI across key semiconductor operations, including chip design, process technology, and manufacturing, to improve development efficiency and productivity. The world’s largest memory chip maker said it will continue to recruit top talent in AI and data engineering and leverage their expertise across the organisation to strengthen the company’s overall AI capabilities.
