Samsung has officially leaked the existence of its future technological products, such as Android XR, the Galaxy Tab S12, and the Galaxy S26 FE, which was originally expected to debut later this year. The leak was disclosed directly by Samsung during its public earnings announcement, as reported by 9to5 Google on Thursday.

In the earnings announcement, Samsung also reported its first-ever loss for the mobile division in the second quarter of 2026, which appears to have been caused by a surge in RAM prices. The company also announced the responses it will take to address the market crisis, including confirming several products to be released in the near future.

The first confirmed product to be released is the Galaxy S26 FE, a device Samsung expects will “drive volume market share growth” alongside the rest of the Galaxy S26 series. “We will maintain S26 momentum through continuous marketing and the launch of the new S26 FE, while expanding additional sales in the mid-to-high segment by bringing our AI experience to the A-series,” Samsung stated.

Following the smartphone, Samsung then announced the existence of Android XR glasses, which the company refers to as smart glasses. The South Korean technology manufacturer previously showcased these glasses, a collaboration with Google, during the Galaxy Unpacked event held last week. However, the release date for the Android XR glasses remains unclarified, with Samsung only providing details for a launch “later this year.”

“Across the broader Galaxy ecosystem, we will focus on enhancing the range of premium products while introducing new form factor experiences for the AI era with the launch of intelligent eyewear later this year,” Samsung’s statement continued.

Finally, the last product confirmed for launch by Samsung this year is the Galaxy Tab S12. Although announced, this is not a guarantee, given that Samsung has entered an 18-month release cycle for tablets. If referring to the launch of the Galaxy Tab S11 in September 2025, it is reasonable to assume the Galaxy Tab S12 would not be released until early 2027. However, based on the latest information from Samsung, this tablet should launch in the second half of 2026.
