Samsung Galaxy S27 Ultra reportedly has thicker bezels than its predecessor

Jakarta (ANTARA) – The Samsung Galaxy S27 Ultra is reportedly set to have slightly thicker screen bezels than its predecessor, the Galaxy S26 Ultra.

GSM Arena reported on Thursday (15 October), citing technology tipster Ice Universe, that the Galaxy S27 Ultra’s bezels will measure 1.28 mm, compared with 1.15 mm on the Galaxy S26 Ultra.

Ice Universe also said the Galaxy S27 Ultra’s rear camera module will measure 4.69 mm, making it thicker than the 4.5 mm module on its predecessor.

The Galaxy S27 Ultra is rumoured to feature a new rear camera module design, which could explain the difference in dimensions.

The phone is rumoured to have three rear cameras: a 200-megapixel main camera, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera and a 50-megapixel telephoto camera with up to 5x optical zoom.

According to leaks already circulating, the Samsung Galaxy S27 Ultra is expected to measure 163.76 x 78.25 x 7.97 mm and weigh 218 grams.
