Samsung Galaxy S26, S26+, S26 Ultra Comparison: Specifications & Price
The Samsung Galaxy S26 series will officially launch in Indonesia in late February 2026. This year, Samsung is introducing several significant changes, starting with the use of the world’s first 2nm chipset on the standard and Plus variants, and the exclusive ‘Privacy Display’ feature on the Ultra model.
For those considering an upgrade, here is a detailed comparison of the Samsung Galaxy S26, S26+, and S26 Ultra to help you determine the best choice.
The Samsung Galaxy S26 (standard) has an increased screen size of 6.3 inches, but remains the most compact flagship, comfortable to hold in one hand.
The S26 Ultra now has a larger 6.9-inch screen.
The S26 Ultra introduces Privacy Display technology. This feature allows users to narrow the viewing angle of the screen digitally, so that people next to you cannot peek at the phone’s content (anti-shoulder surfing).
Meanwhile, the S26+ has the best screen sharpness with the highest pixel-per-inch (PPI) among the three.
2026 marks the return of chipset differences in the global market. The S26 and S26+ use the Exynos 2600, the first 2nm chipset that offers exceptional power efficiency.
However, for power users, the S26 Ultra remains the king with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy, supported by a 20% larger Vapor Chamber cooling system.
If photography is a priority, the S26 Ultra is unmatched. Its 200MP main sensor now has an f/1.4 aperture (47% wider than the S25 Ultra), which means much sharper low-light performance.
The S26 and S26+ still use a 50MP triple camera configuration, which is very capable for social media needs, but fall far short in digital zoom capabilities, which reach 100x on the Ultra model.
The S26 Ultra gets a significant charging upgrade to 60W (Super Fast Charging 3.0), which is claimed to be able to charge 0-75% in just 30 minutes. The S26+ remains at 45W, while the S26 standard is still at 25W.
Choose the S26 Ultra if you want the latest technology, S Pen, and a professional camera. Choose the S26+ if you need a large screen at a more reasonable price. However, if you like a compact and powerful phone, the S26 standard is the best choice in 2026. (Z-10)
