Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia - The Samsung Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S26 Plus have been officially launched at the Galaxy Unpacked event in California, USA, on Thursday (26/2/2026), early WIB.

The regular Galaxy S26 features a 6.3-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X panel with FHD+ resolution. Meanwhile, the larger Galaxy S26 Plus has a 6.7-inch screen that supports QHD+ resolution. Both have an adaptive refresh rate of up to 120Hz, and Vision Booster technology.

In terms of performance, Samsung relies on the latest Exynos 2600 processor. This chipset will be paired with 12GB of RAM for both models, with 256GB and 512GB internal storage options.

The operating system uses Android 16 with the One UI 8.5 interface, promising improved efficiency and more advanced artificial intelligence features.

In terms of photography, both phones are equipped with a triple rear camera configuration consisting of a 50MP main camera with OIS and 2x optical quality, a 10MP telephoto lens that supports 3x optical zoom, and a 12MP ultra-wide lens.

On the front, there is a 12MP camera that is ready to provide users with high-quality selfies and video calls.

For the Galaxy S26, wired charging is claimed to charge the battery up to 55% in about 30 minutes with a 25W adapter and 3A USB-C cable.

Meanwhile, for the Galaxy S26 Plus, wired charging can charge the battery up to 69% in about 30 minutes with a 45W adapter.
