Samsung Galaxy M47 appears on Geekbench, to be equipped with Android 16
Jakarta (ANTARA) - Samsung appears to be continuing the existence of its Galaxy M series smartphones with the name Galaxy M47, as this smartphone has appeared on the Geekbench benchmark platform.
Several details of its hardware specifications have been revealed, indicating that the phone will be launched soon.
Reported by Gizmochina, Friday (15/5), the Geekbench listing shows that the Galaxy M47 has model number SM-M476B.
The processor configuration includes four performance cores with a speed of 2.40 GHz and four efficiency cores running at a speed of 1.80 GHz. Graphics tasks are handled by the Adreno 710 GPU.
The listing also reveals that the Galaxy M47 being tested has 8GB of RAM and the Android 16 operating system. This means that this operating system will be available from the start when the Galaxy M47 is released later.
This is not the first time the Galaxy M47 has appeared in online information circulation. Previous reports indicated that Samsung had started internal testing of the device in markets such as India and Nepal.
The smartphone also previously appeared in the IMEI database, which suggests that development is already underway.
Compared to previous models, this new device is likely to offer improvements in processing power and software support.
Although Samsung has not officially confirmed its specifications, reports indicate that the Galaxy M47 may have a Super AMOLED screen, 5G connectivity, and a large battery capacity.
Another upcoming phone, believed to be named the Samsung Galaxy F70 Pro, may have similarities with the Galaxy M47.
The Galaxy M47 will be the successor to the Galaxy M44, which has a 6.58-inch (16.7 cm) full-HD+ LCD screen, a 50 MP triple rear camera setup, an 8 MP selfie camera, and a 5,000mAh battery.
With the Galaxy M47 now appearing on Geekbench, more details about Samsung’s next mid-range phone may emerge in the coming weeks.
