Samsung Galaxy Buds4 and Buds4 Pro debut at Galaxy Unpacked
Jakarta (ANTARA) - Samsung has introduced its latest generation of True Wireless Stereo (TWS) earbuds, the Galaxy Buds4 and Galaxy Buds4 Pro, at the Galaxy Unpacked product launch event.
Both are promised to deliver smoother audio quality and feature improved computational design for enhanced performance.
“We have engineered our most powerful hi-fi audio and the safest ergonomic fit to work together, delivering the best listening experience we have ever created,” said Corporate VP of Mobile Enhancement R&D Team, Mobile eXperience (MX) Business Samsung Electronics Ikhyun Cho in a statement on Thursday.
The design of the earbuds’ case has also been updated, allowing users to see the entire earbuds. This design change practically makes it easier for users to find the earbuds when they want to use them.
The design change on the Galaxy Buds4 Pro specifically features a wider woofer. This has an impact on more natural immersive audio, as the speaker area is almost 20 percent more effective compared to the Galaxy Buds3 Pro.
The Galaxy Buds4 is also promised to have improvements in its Active Noise Cancelling (ANC) function, although not as advanced as the Pro version.
Both the Galaxy Buds4 Pro and Galaxy Buds 4 have Enhanced Adaptive ANC/EQ due to software updates. The device is designed with an algorithm to analyse usage conditions so that it can minimise noise leakage.
Samsung claims that this technology can provide clearer call quality and twice the bandwidth of regular Bluetooth calls.
The Galaxy Buds4 series is now available for pre-order in several countries, such as the US. In the US, the Galaxy Buds4 is priced at $180 (around Rp3 million) and the Galaxy Buds4 Pro at $250 (around Rp4.1 million).
