Sampoerna to pay dividend

JAKARTA: Indonesian cigarette company PT HM Sampoerna got
shareholders' approval on Friday to pay a further Rp 140 (1.6
U.S. cents) dividend a share later this year on top of the
interim dividend of Rp 50 in April.

Its shareholders also approved the company's proposal to
allocate a maximum of Rp 417 billion to buy back its shares
within 18 months to support the share price.--Dow Jones
