Sampoerna Announces Changes to Board of Directors Following Extraordinary General Meeting

PT HM Sampoerna Tbk (HMSP) has announced changes to its Board of Directors through an Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders (EGMS) held on Friday, 27 February 2026 in Jakarta. This decision marks a strategic step by the company to strengthen its organisational structure to remain adaptive to industry dynamics.

Through shareholder resolution, Houria Raselma was appointed to replace Gunnar Beckers, Reno Bontemps to replace Sergio Colarusso, and Rianto Probo Hartono joined as a new director.

Sampoerna’s President Director Ivan Cahyadi is confident that the new board composition will further strengthen the company in facing industry challenges and driving sustainable business growth.

“I believe the experience and expertise possessed by Houria, Reno, and Rianto will further strengthen our Management Team and Board of Directors in driving the company’s performance and securing the achievement of Sampoerna’s long-term strategy,” Ivan stated in an official announcement on Friday (27/2/2026).

On the same occasion, Ivan expressed appreciation to Gunnar Beckers and Sergio Colarusso for their contributions and leadership at Sampoerna.

“With extensive experience, astuteness in decision-making, and high integrity, both have made significant contributions to the company and helped strengthen Sampoerna in maintaining market leadership,” Ivan concluded.

Houria Raselma began her career as a Brand Manager at Philip Morris International (PMI) Algeria in 2012. Since then, she has driven innovation across various brands, product portfolios, and digital transformation for PMI affiliates in the Eastern Europe, Middle East, and Africa regions.

Reno Bontemps, with more than 15 years of experience in finance, previously held various positions in strategic planning, business, and budgeting, with his most recent role as Finance Director of PMI for the Middle East region. Meanwhile, Rianto Probo Hartono, who has worked for 18 years at Sampoerna, has a strong track record across various strategic functions, including external relations and commercial planning.
