Sampang (ANTARA) - The Sampang Regency Government in East Java has provided the ‘Lapor MBG’ application as an effort to improve the programme’s services and accelerate handling of any issues arising in the field.

Regent of Sampang Slamet Junaidi in Sampang on Saturday said that the ‘Lapor MBG’ application was deliberately provided so that the public can directly report complaints regarding the implementation of MBG in the field.

“Through this programme, we want to work maximally, so with the ‘Lapor MBG’ application, the public can report directly to the regency government and the MBG Task Force,” he said.

The ‘Lapor MBG’ application is published on the official Sampang Regency Government website at https://sampangkab.go.id/lapor-mbg.

Six menus are available in the application, which is connected to the MBG Task Force and all regional device organisations (OPD) within the Sampang Regency Government environment.

Each menu covers the number of reports, number of kitchens, beneficiaries, number of institutions, and completed reports.

“The Sampang Regency Government hopes that the public can make good use of this application, because its purpose is indeed to improve the MBG programme,” he said.

According to the regent, the Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) programme launched by the government is a flagship initiative that must be supported by all parties.

In addition to preparing superior human resources (HR), this programme also has positive impacts for the community, including residents in Sampang Regency.

“Because through this programme, many Sampang residents are now absorbed as workers in the Nutrition Fulfilment Service Units (SPPG),” he said.

As of 18 April 2026, the number of SPPG operating in Sampang Regency is 129, out of a total of 147 registered SPPG.

“The SPPG that are not yet operational are still waiting for the completion of administrative requirements and operating permits,” he explained.
