SAMARINDA, East Kalimantan: East Kalimantan's traditional
culture and rich natural resources made it increasingly
attractive to international researchers, Community Protection and
National Unity chief Djumar Soewito said on Tuesday.
Four to five researchers entered the province and applied to
carry out research a month, which is known for its Dayak tribe
and rich mineral resources, Djumar said.
Researchers, often from Australia, Japan and the United
States, normally studied human resource development, culture and
natural resource distribution. -- Antara
