We all know that members of the political elite have continued to busy themselves with seemingly endless conflicts and disputes leading to national disintegration, thus making life extremely difficult for the people.

As the country's leaders haven't reached an agreement as to how to solve the nation's numerous crises and to counter national disintegration as well as deal with the people's prolonged suffering, I would like to suggest that some kind of Salvation Council of National Unity be established as soon as possible. I am calling on all responsible parties in this beloved republic to consider its immediate establishment with their full support, or otherwise the current unitary republic of Indonesia will cease to exist.
