Salim Group Abruptly Divests 29 Million Shares in Amman Mineral (AMMN)
Jakarta — Mining emitter PT Amman Mineral Internasional Tbk (AMMN) has announced a share sale by one of its major shareholders, PT Pesona Sukses Cemerlang, an affiliate of the Salim Group.
According to KSEI share ownership reports dated 9 March 2026, Pesona Sukses Cemerlang sold 29 million shares in AMMN. Following the transaction, Pesona Sukses Cemerlang’s stake in AMMN decreased to 4.53 billion shares, equivalent to 6.26%. Previously, the entity held 4.55 billion shares, or 6.29%, as of 6 March 2026.
Pesona Sukses Cemerlang is one of several major shareholders in AMMN, alongside PT Medco Energi Internasional Tbk (MEDC), PT Sumber Gemilang Persada, PT AP Investment, and PT Sajir 9 LLC.
The Salim Group initially entered AMMN during its initial public offering through PT Sumber Gemilang Persada (SGP), becoming the company’s largest shareholder. The group also holds stakes through Medco’s ownership in AMMN, via Diamond Bridge Pte. Ltd.
Additionally, the Salim Group’s interests in AMMN extend through PT Pesona Sukses Cemerlang (PSC), owned by the managing director of KFC operations in Indonesia, Fast Food Indonesia (FAST), and Edie Herjadi, whose name appears across various Salim Group companies.
Following the IPO, Anthoni Salim’s indirect ownership stake in AMMN stood at 7.14%. Overall, the Salim Group’s combined ownership in AMMN through various business vehicles is estimated at 43.72%.
