A few months before the Southeast Asian Games here in Jakarta,
many people bought fund-raising stickers to finance the event.
Those who bought the stickers deserve merit since without their
contribution, the games would have been called off. During the
games, the sticker buyers seemed to have been almost forgotten as
the organizers of the sports festival only thanked them for their
participation. This group of sticker buyers is too big to mention
one by one.

When the games were over, gifts were awarded to the best
athletes who made great achievements, while the sticker buyers'
act of financing the festival was drowned out in the flurry of
giving presents. It seems that the cost of Rp 1,000 to buy one
sticker was too insignificant compared to the millions of rupiah
given out to the high achievers. One thing is certain, sticker
buyers will have to perform better in the future.
