Salatiga Toll Gate Construction Reaches 13.2 Percent Completion
PT Trans Marga Jateng, the operator of the Semarang-Solo Toll Road, has reported that construction of the Salatiga City Toll Gate in Central Java, which began in April 2026, has now reached 13.2 percent physical completion. President Director of PT Trans Marga Jateng Prajudi stated in Semarang on Wednesday that the physical works have achieved 13.2 percent progress and are targeted for completion by January 2027. According to him, the construction of this new toll access is part of efforts to strengthen connectivity in the strategic area of Salatiga City and its surroundings. He added that the toll access also opens up broader opportunities for economic, social, cultural, educational, and tourism growth. He noted that the new access point for the Semarang-Solo Toll Road will further strengthen Salatiga City’s connectivity, drive local economic growth, expand access to educational centres, support the development of the tourism sector, and enhance social and cultural activities. He expressed optimism that the construction of the Pattimura Toll Exit Gate will proceed on target by early 2027. The construction of the Salatiga Toll Exit Gate carries a budget of approximately Rp113 billion. The toll gate itself is planned to be accessible only to vehicles travelling to and from Semarang City.
