The Sakuranesia Foundation has been actively promoting educational, artistic, and cultural exchange initiatives between Indonesia and Japan through its network of partner institutions in both countries.
Its network includes the Institute for Friendship Among Islamic Organizations (LPOI), the University of Indonesia (UI), Gadjah Mada University (UGM), Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology (ITS), Indonesia University of Education (UPI), Syarif Hidayatullah State Islamic University Jakarta, Bunkyo Gakuin University, Sanko Gakuin (Azalee Group), Weathernews, and Tsuzuki Education Group in Japan.
Under the agreement, the two sides aim to expand cooperation through student exchanges, joint research, human resource development programs, and multidisciplinary collaboration in agriculture, environmental studies, arts, culture, and social innovation.
Sakuranesia Foundation Chairman and Founder Sakura Ijuin said the MoU reaffirmed the foundation’s commitment to advancing educational and cultural development among nations as part of efforts to build bridges of friendship and promote civilizational harmony across Asia and beyond.
