Sailun Targets Agricultural Sector with MAXIM Tyre Technology
Tyre manufacturer Sailun is targeting the agricultural and industrial sectors in Indonesia through its MAXAM tyre technology, which it claims can increase productivity while reducing operational costs for heavy equipment and agricultural machinery. The technology was introduced at the Indonesia International Agriculture Exhibition (INAGRITECH) 2026, held at JIExpo Kemayoran, Jakarta, from 28-30 July 2026. At the exhibition, Sailun displayed a range of MAXAM tyres for agricultural, construction, and forestry applications.
Director of Off-the-Road Tires Sailun Asia, James, stated that MAXAM tyre technology is designed to help customers lower the total cost of ownership (TCO) through improved tyre durability, longer service life, reduced equipment downtime, and operational efficiency. ‘The Groundbreaker Hub represents our commitment to delivering a new standard in the tyre industry, particularly in terms of performance, wear resistance, and soil protection. We want to demonstrate how MAXAM tyre technology can enhance productivity in the field, optimise equipment utilisation, and reduce total cost of ownership,’ James said.
He added that the technology is expected to address the operational challenges faced by the agricultural, construction, and forestry sectors in Indonesia, which require equipment with high reliability. Beyond improving operational efficiency, the use of longer-lasting tyres is also seen as a way to help reduce hourly operating costs. At INAGRITECH 2026, Sailun showcased a variety of MAXAM tyres for different applications, including agricultural tractors, wheel loaders, and motor graders. The company also provided a digital area where visitors could access technical specifications, tyre pressure recommendations, and application guides via QR codes, as well as a tractor installation simulating the use of MAXAM tyres in the field. Through its participation in INAGRITECH 2026, Sailun hopes its tyre technology can support the improvement of national agricultural productivity while offering efficiency solutions for businesses across various sectors.
