JAKARTA – Operational efficiency is the key priority for bus and logistics entrepreneurs in Indonesia. Recognising this need, tyre manufacturer Sailun Group has officially launched two latest products for commercial vehicles at the Giicomvec 2026 event.

Through this product line, Sailun aims to address market challenges for tyres that are not only strong but also capable of reducing fuel consumption.

The two products introduced are the S690 and SFR25. Both are designed with different characteristics according to the terrain and operational patterns of vehicles:

• Sailun SFR25: Intended for urban to medium-distance use. Its main focus is the balance between wear resistance and fuel efficiency.

Thanks to the optimised tread design and structure, this tyre can reduce rolling resistance without compromising braking performance.

In Indonesia, Sailun operates with more than one brand. They implement a multi-brand strategy, bringing in the RoadX, Blackhawk, and Maxam brands to reach various needs, from logistics to heavy equipment.

One added value for consumers in the country is the presence of production facilities in Demak, Central Java. This factory has a substantial annual production capacity, including:

• 6 million PCR tyres (passenger vehicles).

• 750,000 TBR tyres (trucks and buses).

• 10,000 tons of OTR tyres (off-the-road).

The existence of this local factory is claimed to enhance response speed and service efficiency for the Indonesian market as well as the Asia-Pacific region.
