Sailun Group brings two new tyre models to GIICOMVEC 2026

Jakarta (ANTARA) - Taking advantage of the Gaikindo Indonesia International Commercial Vehicle Expo (GIICOMVEC) 2026, tyre manufacturer Sailun Group launched its two latest tyres, the SFR25 and S690, each designed to address different operational needs. Director of Sales and Marketing at PT Sailun Tire Indonesia, Eko Supriyatin, stated that in the commercial transportation industry, every detail impacts efficiency and operational costs, which in turn affect business growth. “We remain committed to technology-based innovation, from low rolling resistance designs to reduce energy consumption to highly durable products capable of handling various road conditions. Combined with smart monitoring technology, we help customers manage their fleets more efficiently,” said Eko at the GIICOMVEC 2026 exhibition on Wednesday. Eko explained that these tyres enhance vehicle reliability and safety, providing optimal support for long-distance operations. Meanwhile, the SFR25 series is suitable for vehicles on medium to long-distance routes. “The improved tread design and structural optimisation not only increase resistance to wear but also reduce rolling resistance, allowing these tyres to help lower fuel consumption without sacrificing braking performance, driving stability, and comfort,” he continued. For the domestic market, Sailun Group has developed a multi-brand portfolio including Sailun, RoadX, Blackhawk, and Maxam, which covers a wide range of needs from logistics transportation to heavy equipment and construction.
