Said Iqbal Arrives at Palace, Ready to be Inaugurated as Prabowo's Special Advisor
The President of the Indonesian Workers Union Confederation, Said Iqbal, has arrived at the Presidential Palace Complex in Central Jakarta. He is scheduled to be inaugurated by President Prabowo Subianto as the Special Presidential Advisor for Labour Affairs at the State Palace at 4:30 PM WIB.
According to observations, Said arrived at approximately 3:45 PM WIB, wearing a black songkok, a full suit, and a light blue tie. In a press statement to journalists, Said explained his future responsibilities.
“Of course, I will provide extensive input to the President, whether requested or not, and conduct policy analyses,” he stated.
In addition to Said, President Prabowo is also set to inaugurate three leaders of the National Nutrition Agency (BGN). The three individuals had arrived earlier: Nanik Deyang (Head), Agustina Arumsari (Deputy Head), and Trenggono (Deputy Head).
