Sahroni Returns to the Field to Gather Public Aspirations Following Reactivation as DPR Member
Ahmad Sahroni, Deputy Chair of Commission III of the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR RI), has returned to meet directly with constituents in his electoral districts in Cengkareng, West Jakarta, and Kebon Bawang, Tanjung Priok, North Jakarta, following his reactivation.
The visits were attended by hundreds of residents who took the opportunity to voice various aspirations and concerns they face in their daily lives.
One Cengkareng resident named Syarifudin expressed his satisfaction with Sahroni’s return to active service at the DPR and his direct engagement with constituents in his district.
“As residents here and voters of Pak Sahroni, we are naturally pleased that Pak Sahroni has returned to active duty at the DPR. He is our representative at the national level, so we hope our voices and grievances as constituents will continue to be championed by him,” said Syarifudin.
Responding to this, Sahroni emphasised that his presence among the community is part of his responsibility as a people’s representative, particularly for residents of West Jakarta and North Jakarta who have entrusted him with their mandate.
“I always feel a responsibility to continue being present amongst you all, especially since you have given me your mandate and trust. Your aspirations will certainly continue to be heard and championed by me to the best of my ability in the DPR, particularly through my partners in Commission III,” said Sahroni.
Sahroni pledged to return regularly to his electoral district to directly hear the concerns of constituents as usual, ensuring that all efforts in the DPR are truly based on the needs of people on the ground.
