Sahroni Reminds Officials to Report Assets: It Is Our Obligation
Jakarta – Deputy Chairman of Commission III of the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR RI), Ahmad Sahroni, has reminded public officials to promptly report their assets on the LHKPN website. He stated that officials have an obligation to disclose all their wealth to the public.
“Yes, indeed, it’s better to do it sooner; no problem. Participation might come after Eid, perhaps forgotten. Just a reminder, because it’s an obligation for officials to submit LHKPN,” Sahroni told reporters at the Senayan parliamentary complex in Jakarta on Monday, 30 March 2026.
He emphasised that officials would be reminded again to submit their asset reports soon. Sahroni himself claimed to have already reported his assets on the LHKPN website.
“Already done, since early March. But verification takes a bit long, maybe next month,” he said.
Previously reported, the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) reminded state organisers or mandatory reporters to submit their periodic State Organisers’ Wealth Reports (LHKPN) for the 2025 reporting year no later than 31 March 2026 via the elhkpn.kpk.go.id website.
“LHKPN reporting is self-assessment (independent evaluation), thus requiring self-awareness from every state organiser or mandatory reporter to report their owned wealth honestly, accurately, and completely,” said KPK Spokesperson Budi Prasetyo to reporters in Jakarta on Monday, 30 March 2026.
He further stated that the KPK requests leaders of ministries/institutions, regional governments, and state/regional-owned enterprises to actively monitor and ensure that all state organisers or mandatory reporters in their environments truly submit LHKPN.
“The role of leaders is key in encouraging compliance and building a culture of integrity in their respective agencies,” he said.
He added that the KPK is also ready to provide assistance services for state organisers or mandatory reporters experiencing difficulties in the filling and reporting process via the elhkpn.kpk.go.id website, or by contacting the email elhkpn@kpk.go.id or the KPK call centre at 198.
Meanwhile, based on KPK data as of 26 March 2026, 87.83 per cent or around 337,340 out of a total of 431,882 state organisers or mandatory reporters have submitted their 2025 periodic LHKPN.
