Sahroni: Cabinet Secretary Teddy a Proactive Official with High Performance

NasDem Party treasurer Ahmad Sahroni has described Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya as a government anchor whose task is to ensure the president’s programmes run smoothly. He considers what Teddy has done to be part of his responsibilities.

‘Teddy is the government’s anchor. His function is indeed to make sure all the president’s programmes run smoothly,’ Sahroni said in a statement on Thursday (18/6/2026).

‘His task is heavy and I see that Teddy can carry it out well. So what Teddy is doing now is part of his responsibility as Cabinet Secretary to ensure all government agendas proceed according to the President’s direction,’ he continued.

Furthermore, the Deputy Chairman of House Commission III said Teddy must also be active in straightening out confusing issues in public. He also said Teddy works within his authority.

‘As Cabinet Secretary, he also has to comment publicly if there are confusing matters that need to be straightened out regarding the government. So Teddy has been working according to his function and his performance is very impressive,’ he stated.

Sahroni considers it natural if there are negative comments about Teddy. He praised Teddy’s proactive attitude.

‘In my opinion, it is natural if there are negative comments about Teddy’s position and performance because it is only now that we have a public official who is proactive and has such high performance as Teddy,’ he added.
