Sahid manages Topas hotel

BANDUNG, West Java (JP): PT Sahid International Hotel
Management & Consultants (SIHMC) yesterday added Bandung's Hotel
Topas Galeria to the list of hotels under its management.

Under an agreement signed here yesterday, Topas Galeria, which
is presently owned by PT Mustika Sangkuriang, will be renamed
Hotel Sahid Topas Galeria.

There are presently 13 hotels managed by SIHMC across the
country. By the end of 1998, another eight will be added,
including two hotels in Saudi Arabia. Topaz Galeria is the first
among the eight additions.

SIHMC, owned by the Sahid Group, provides operating and
management services, franchises, technical assistance,
feasibility studies and education and training facilities on a
contract basis.

Classified as a three-star hotel, Topas presently has 106
rooms located on three floors. It was opened in January last year
and was built with an investment of about Rp 9 billion. (17/pwn)
