Sahid grand apartments to be ready
JAKARTA (JP): The Sahid group's luxurious apartment project, with an investment of US$83 million, built at its hotel complex on Jl. Jend. Sudirman, Central Jakarta, is expected to be completed next March, its owner Sukamdani S. Gitosardjono said Saturday.
Sukamdani told reporters after a ceremony of the apartments roof topping that the project, called the Sahid Palace Executive apartments, will consist of two towers with 188 rooms and four penthouses.
Its two bedroom units will be sold at US$500,000 each and the three bedroom units at US$700,000 while the penthouse costs US$2 million, he said.
"This is our first project in property and will soon be followed by other apartment projects in Surabaya, Bali and Bintan in the near future," Sukamdani said.
He said that 60 of the 188 rooms have been bought by Sahid Jaya Hotel to accommodate its long staying guests with cheaper rates than those charged by the hotel. (yns)
