Safeguarding the Party's Prestige, Golkar Youth Elements Urged to Engage with the People and Monitor Prabowo's Programmes

Jakarta – The Chairman of the Youth and Sports Division of the Golkar Party’s Central Executive Board, Said Aldi, has urged the General Chairman of OKP Karya Kekaryaan and all youth elements of the Golkar Party to continue monitoring the policies and programmes of the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto, throughout the country.

This is particularly important in supporting the steps taken by the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, who is also the General Chairman of the Golkar Party, Bahlil Lahadalia, to stabilise oil prices following the war between the United States (US)-Israel and Iran.

“I ask all youth elements of the Golkar Party to go directly to the people to socialise the flagship government programmes that are very beneficial and have been enjoyed and felt by the community in the regions,” said Said Aldi, quoted on Monday, 6 April 2026.

Said Aldi also advised the General Chairman of OKP Karya Kekaryaan to conduct cadre base strengthening across Indonesia and to succeed in the Golkar Party’s programme to recruit two million new cadres.

“Recruitment of millennial generation, teenagers, and youth elements at all levels. And this is in line with the directives of the General Chairman of the Golkar DPP, Mr Bahlil Lahadalia. Because as the Golkar party’s laboratory, the Youth and Sports Division and OKP Kekaryaan must remain solid in safeguarding the party’s prestige,” he explained.

On that occasion, Said Aldi also reminded all youth elements in the Golkar Party to identify the best cadres who possess extraordinary charisma and sympathy from the public to be proposed as flagship legislative candidates that will increase the party’s votes in 2029.

“Insha Allah, up to today, the Youth and Sports Division of the Golkar Party’s DPP continues to move militantly to achieve the best results. Because the General Chairman, Mr Bahlil Lahadalia, has prepared various strategies to increase the party’s votes in the 2029 elections,” he stated.

For information, those present at the silaturahim coordination meeting included the General Chairman of AMMDI, Fokusmaker, AMPI, AMSI, BMK 57, Gema MKGR, Hima Kosgoro.

“On that occasion, several proposals and organisational strengthening were also agreed upon, along with consolidation and the formation of OKP Karya Kekaryaan throughout Indonesia to be completed immediately in 2026,” he concluded.
