REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - The National Professional Certification Body (BNSP) carried out a full assessment of 21 certification schemes belonging to the Professional Certification Agency of Universitas Bina Sarana Informatika (LSP UBSI) on Friday (14/2/2026). This activity forms part of quality control to ensure that the competency testing process runs in accordance with regulations and national standards.

The assessment was conducted comprehensively, starting from the verification of scheme documents, assessment instruments, to the readiness of assessors and the quality management system. This process aims to maintain the credibility and accountability of the competency certification system in Indonesia so that it remains relevant to industry needs.

UBSI, as a Creative Digital Campus, continues to strengthen its commitment to improving graduate competencies through professional certification. The 21 schemes assessed cover various fields, from information technology such as Database Administrator, Network Administrator, and Data Analyst, to communication, creative, accounting, and media relations fields.

In its implementation, BNSP assigned a team of licensed assessors led by Ade Syaekudin, assisted by Aziz Afandi and Haryono. The team carried out a series of stages, from management interviews, process observations, to reviewing competency testing instruments for all schemes.

Ade Syaekudin emphasised the importance of the assessment as a quality control instrument. “This full assessment ensures that the entire certification process runs according to BNSP provisions and truly guarantees the competence of participants. With maintained standards, certifications have credible value in the industrial world,” he stated in a press release on Monday (23/3/2026).

The Director of LSP UBSI, Firmansyah, stated that this activity is an important momentum to improve the quality of certification services.

“This full assessment is a comprehensive evaluation for us to ensure that every certification scheme implemented is truly relevant to industry needs and meets national standards. We are committed to continuously maintaining quality and improving certification services at LSP UBSI,” he said.

Looking ahead, Firmansyah hopes that the results of this assessment can strengthen the implementation of certification schemes that are adaptive to developments in the working world. “LSP UBSI also targets improvements in service quality so that graduates have competencies that are nationally recognised and ready to compete in the industrial world,” he added.
