Safeguarding Industry and Environment, PIM Emphasises This!

PT Pupuk Iskandar Muda (PIM), as a member of Holding Pupuk Indonesia, has once again achieved a milestone by receiving the Programme for Assessing Company Performance in Environmental Management (PROPER) Green 2025 from the Ministry of Environment and Forestry/Environmental Control Agency (KLHK/BPLH). This result demonstrates the seriousness of Pupuk Indonesia as a holding company that continues to commit to encouraging its subsidiaries to maintain environmental management. The award was directly received by PIM’s Director of Operations and Production, Zulyan Imansyah, at the awarding ceremony held at Sasono Langen Budoyo, Taman Mini Indonesia Indah, Jakarta, on Tuesday, 7 April 2026. Quoted from PIM’s official Instagram account @pimkamibangga, PIM continues to commit to maintaining the balance between industrial operations and environmental conservation. Especially through strengthening waste management systems, improving resource efficiency, and integrating sustainability principles into business processes. “This award is not only about the results, but also about the process of how the company continuously integrates sustainability principles into every line of operations,” PIM wrote, quoted on Friday (24/4/2026). “Thank you to all the company’s personnel, business partners, and the community who have been part of this journey. Together, we continue to move forward to bring positive impacts for the environment and a more sustainable future,” PIM concluded. Previously, PIM achieved PROPER Gold for the first time in 2024. This PROPER Gold award is a special achievement for PT Pupuk Iskandar Muda on the celebration of its 4th anniversary. PROPER is the highest award from the Ministry of Environment and Forestry given to companies that carry out environmental management and community development efforts in a sustainable manner.
