Safe Journey Home with Accident and Property Protection from IDR10,000
As Indonesia prepares for the 2026 Idul Fitri celebration, the traditional mudik (homeward exodus) is again poised to be a focal point of national mobility. In response, PT Asuransi Jasa Indonesia (Jasindo), a state-owned enterprise, has launched a specialised protection programme to ensure citizens can return to their hometowns with peace of mind and security.
Brellian Gema Widayana, Jasindo’s Corporate Secretary, explained that the Idul Fitri mudik period represents the year’s highest-risk mobility season. Consequently, financial protection against accident and property security risks is critically important during this time.
The programme offers inclusive personal accident insurance coverage with premiums starting from IDR10,000. Despite the affordable premium, the benefits are highly competitive, encompassing protection throughout travel using land, sea, and air transport modes.
“The Idul Fitri mudik season is invariably accompanied by significantly increased public mobility. Through the Mudik Insurance Programme, Jasindo wishes to provide peace and security for those travelling to their hometowns whilst simultaneously protecting homes left vacant,” Brellian stated in Jakarta on Wednesday, 11 March 2026.
A key concern for those undertaking mudik is the risk of homes being burgled or electrical short-circuits causing fires whilst properties remain empty. By activating this insurance, citizens receive dual protection. Not only are individuals themselves protected against accident risks during travel, but home assets are also covered against loss from theft and fire damage.
Beyond providing tangible protection, Jasindo hopes the programme will serve as an entry point for the public to become better acquainted with insurance instruments. As one of Indonesia’s state-owned insurance pillars, the company is committed to providing products relevant to the sociological needs of Indonesian society.
Through accessible channels and economical pricing, the initiative seeks to enhance public awareness of the importance of risk management, ensuring that the 2026 Idul Fitri celebration proceeds peacefully without undue anxiety.
