Sadistic Killer of 11-Year-Old Bilqis in Sragen Arrested

Bilqis Rajiansyah Lestari, aged 11, was brutally murdered in Dawung Village, Jenar District, Sragen Regency, Central Java. Her killer has now been arrested by the police. “Yes. Alhamdulillah,” said Sragen Police Chief AKBP Dewiana Syamsu Indiyasari when confirmed on Wednesday. Dewiana stated that her team is still conducting further investigation. She also requested time to provide more detailed information. “However, we are still investigating further, please give us time,” she concluded. Previously, the mystery surrounding the death of Bilqis, who was killed by a robber, began to clear. The current investigation had already pointed towards a suspected perpetrator. Head of Criminal Investigation at Sragen Police, AKP Catur Agus Yudo Praseno, said the probe had focused on one party, though he declined to reveal the identity of the suspect. “We have been directed towards one party that is reasonably suspected of being connected to this case. However, we continue to uphold the principle of the presumption of innocence,” Catur said in a written statement on Monday.
