Russia to launch RI satellite
MOSCOW (AFP): Russia is to put a Indonesian communication
satellite in orbit on Feb. 12 after pushing back its launch
several times because of technical problems, the ITAR-TASS news
agency reported Tuesday, citing the Russian Space Agency.
The US-made satellite, which had originally been scheduled for
a lift-off last October, will be launched from Baikonur in
Kazakhstan using Russia's Proton-K rocket.
