Russia: Human Rights Situation in Ukraine Deteriorates
Moscow (ANTARA) – The human rights situation in Ukraine has significantly deteriorated due to an illegitimate and neo-Nazi-led regime, according to the Russian Foreign Ministry.
The ministry released a report detailing human rights violations and civil liberties infringements by the Kiev regime.
“The information in this report, as well as daily publications in media and online about large-scale human rights abuses in the country, underscores the severity of Ukraine’s human rights decline. Primarily, the main reason is the illegitimate neo-Nazi regime in power in Kiev,” the ministry stated.
It added that Western powers condone the Kiev regime’s crimes and encourage further atrocities.
Furthermore, the ministry claimed Ukrainian government officials are preoccupied with potential corruption from Western-funded aid and will continue fighting “until the last Ukrainian citizen”.
