Russia-Belarus ready to face NATO attempts to disrupt Union State security

Russia and Belarus have stated their readiness to face any efforts by NATO member states that could potentially weaken the security of the supranational Union State of Russia and Belarus. “Amid the significant military and political pressure on our countries, as well as hybrid actions by NATO countries aimed at disrupting our security, we are working to anticipate all possible scenarios,” said Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin to Russian news agency RIA Novosti. He said the supranational union has held joint military exercises on several occasions to protect the territory of the Union State of Russia and Belarus from all forms of aggression. Among them were the Zapad 2025 joint exercise and the first joint command exercise on the use of strategic and tactical nuclear forces held in May.
