Russia Attacks Multiple Ukrainian Ports

The Russian armed forces have continued to launch attacks on Ukrainian ports used for the shipment of goods for the Ukrainian armed forces, according to the Russian Defence Ministry on Wednesday (15/7). “Overnight, the Russian Armed Forces continued to launch attacks on Ukrainian ports used for the shipment of goods for the Ukrainian armed forces,” the ministry said in a statement. The Russian Defence Ministry stated that four cargo warships serving the Ukrainian armed forces were targeted in two Ukrainian seaports, Chernomorsk (Chornomorsk) and Dnepro-Bugsky (Dnieper-Bug). The Russian military also attacked port infrastructure facilities, fuel tanks, and drone production and assembly workshops in the ports of Odessa and Chernomorsk. The Russian Defence Ministry added that a container ship and a bulk carrier transporting supplies for Ukrainian troops were also hit by Russian air strikes in the Port of Chornomorsk, Odessa region. Two dry cargo ships unloading goods for Ukraine were also reported hit while in the Port of Dnepro-Bugsky, Mykolaiv region. Additionally, the ministry stated that an attack by Russian ‘Geran’ drone crews destroyed a gas distribution station used by Ukraine in Kramatorsk, Donetsk People’s Republic. The Russian Defence Ministry also released footage of the attacks and stated that its forces continue to target facilities supplying energy to enterprises supporting Ukraine’s military-industrial complex.
