Rupiah Today 3 June 2026: Weakens to Rp17,878 per US Dollar

The exchange rate of the Rupiah against the US Dollar opened weaker in trading on Wednesday morning. The Rupiah experienced pressure of 39 points or 0.22%, reaching the level of Rp17,878 per US Dollar. This movement indicates a corrective trend compared to the previous trading close, which stood at Rp17,839 per US Dollar. This weakness in the spot market opening reflects the ongoing volatility in foreign exchange markets amidst global economic conditions.

The weakening of the Rupiah today is in line with the movement of other risky assets in the regional area, which also tend to be held back against the greenback.
