Running Event in GBK Area: 13 Transjakarta Routes to Operate from 10:00 AM
REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA – PT Transportasi Jakarta (Transjakarta) is adjusting the operation of 13 service routes that will begin operating at 10:00 AM on Sunday (May 16, 2026), due to a running event in the Gelora Bung Karno (GBK) area, Jakarta.
Head of the Public Relations and CSR Department of PT Transportasi Jakarta, Ayu Wardhani, stated in Jakarta on Sunday that the 13 routes are: 1B (Stasiun Palmerah–Transport Hub Dukuh Atas), 1F (Stasiun Palmerah–Bundaran Senayan), 3F (Kalideres–Senayan Bank Jakarta), 6B (Ragunan–Balai Kota via Semanggi), 6M (Stasiun Manggarai–Blok M), 9C (Pinang Ranti–Bundaran Senayan), 10H (Tanjung Priok–Bundaran Senayan), 1N (Tanah Abang–Blok M), 1P (Senen–Blok M), and 4C (JIEP–Bundaran Senayan).
Furthermore, 6A (Ragunan–Balai Kota via Kuningan), 6V (Ragunan–Senayan Bank Jakarta), and 8N (Kebayoran–Petamburan via Asia Afrika).
“The routes will not serve passengers from 05:00–10:00 AM, following the operating pattern of Car-Free Day,” said Ayu.
In addition, Transjakarta is also making route modifications on several services, including Corridor 1 (Blok M–Kota), which will be diverted via Corridor 9 and Corridor 13 from 04:30–09:00 AM. The direction towards Kota will be ASEAN–Monumen Nasional, while the direction towards Blok M will be Monumen Nasional–Masjid Agung.
Furthermore, Corridor 9 (Pinang Ranti–Pluit via toll) in the direction of Pluit will temporarily not serve the Cikoko–Gerbang Pemuda stops, while the direction towards Pinang Ranti will temporarily not serve the Gerbang Pemuda–Pancoran Tugu stops from 04:30–09:00 AM.
Route 9A (Cililitan–Grogol) in the direction of Pluit will temporarily not serve the Cikoko–Gerbang Pemuda stops, while the direction towards Pinang Ranti will temporarily not serve the Gerbang Pemuda–Pancoran Tugu stops from 05:00–09:00 AM.
Route 1W (Blok M–Ancol) will be temporarily shortened to Ancol–Petamburan from 05:00–10:00 AM.
Route 9D (Pasar Minggu–Tanah Abang via Slipi) in the direction of Tanah Abang will temporarily not serve the Benhil 3–Pospol Jati Bunder stops, while the direction towards Pasar Minggu will temporarily not serve the Jembatan Serong–Benhil 1 stops from 05:00–10:00 AM.
Route 6D (Stasiun Tebet–Bundaran Senayan) will have its route shortened to Karet via the underpass. For the direction towards Stasiun Tebet, the service will not serve the Bundaran Senayan 1–Jalan Karet Pasar Baru Timur 5 and Sahid Sudirman Center stops. Meanwhile, in the direction of Bundaran Senayan, it will not serve the Plaza Sentral–Bundaran Senayan 1 stops from 05:00–10:00 AM.
Route SH2 (Blok M–Bandara Soekarno-Hatta) will be shortened to Petamburan and will not serve the Gelora Bung Karno 1–Bundaran Senayan 1 stops in the direction of Blok M. Meanwhile, in the direction of Bandara Soekarno-Hatta, it will not serve the Bundaran Senayan 2–Gelora Bung Karno 2 stops from 05:00–10:00 AM.
Routes T31 (PIK 2–Blok M) and S61 (Alam Sutera–Blok M) will temporarily not serve the Gerbang Pemuda–Blok M stops from 05:00–10:00 AM.
The running event in GBK is attended by approximately 12,500 participants and will take place from 05:00–09:00 AM, with the starting point at GBK Gate 7 and the finish line at GBK Gate 10.
Several roads that will be affected include Jalan Jenderal Sudirman, Jalan Gatot Subroto, Jalan Asia Afrika, Jalan Gerbang Pemuda, Jalan Sisingamangaraja, and the area around Gelora Bung Karno (GBK).
