Rumah Zakat Receives Republika Sharia Award 2026

Rumah Zakat CEO Irvan Nugraha expressed appreciation for Republika’s consistent support in strengthening the advancement of the Islamic economy in Indonesia. He stated that the Anugerah Syariah Republika (ASR) 2026 has inspired and encouraged every institution and individual to remain involved in efforts to advance the Islamic economy in Indonesia. Irvan said that with this award, Rumah Zakat hopes and will certainly continue to strive to strengthen the progress of the Islamic economy in Indonesia, as well as to bring about broad benefit for society and the ummah. Republika held the ASR 2026 as a form of appreciation for industry players, institutions, and figures deemed successful in driving the growth of the national Islamic economy. Carrying the theme ‘Sharia for All: Beyond Profit, Toward Purpose’, this year’s awards affirmed that the Islamic economy is not only oriented towards business growth but also delivers wider benefits for society. Republika Editor-in-Chief Andi Muhyiddin said the theme was chosen to emphasise that sharia principles prioritise a balance between business success and social responsibility, sustainability, and public benefit. Through the Anugerah Syariah Republika, Republika aims to give appreciation to institutions and individuals who not only record excellent performance but also deliver innovation, expand inclusion, and make real contributions to the development of Indonesia’s Islamic economic ecosystem. The judging process for the Anugerah Syariah Republika 2026 was supported by an Independent Jury Team from Karim Consulting Indonesia. As part of efforts to involve the public, ASR 2026 also brought back the Reader’s Choice category. The polling, which took place from 15 May to 15 June 2026 via Republika.co.id and Republika’s social media, successfully gathered 27,414 votes, an increase compared to the previous year.
