Rudy Susmanto Strengthens Development Synergy with West Java Provincial Government
Regent of Bogor, Rudy Susmanto, attended the High Level Meeting of the Musyawarah Perencanaan Pembangunan (Musrenbang) for the West Java Provincial RKPD 2027, led by West Java Governor Dedi Mulyadi. His attendance was part of efforts to strengthen development synergy between the Bogor Regency Government and the West Java Provincial Government, held at the Governor’s Office in Bale Pakuan on Wednesday, 15 April 2026.
Bogor Regency holds a strategic role, with its population accounting for around 12 per cent of West Java’s total population. This situation positions Bogor Regency as one of the regions with substantial and complex needs for public services.
As it enters the planning for development in 2027, which marks the third year of his leadership, Rudy Susmanto hopes for strengthened support and collaboration from the West Java Provincial Government, particularly in the infrastructure and basic community services sectors.
In the infrastructure sector, the Regent of Bogor emphasised the importance of coordination and synchronisation of programmes, including the placement of facilities such as street lighting (PJU), to ensure implementation is on target and meets the needs of the community on the ground.
Additionally, attention was drawn to the condition of several provincial roads in Bogor Regency that require further handling. The Bogor Regency Government has so far contributed to temporary measures to maintain the comfort and safety of road users.
In the health sector, the Bogor Regency Government’s commitment to ensuring community health services, including financing the BPJS Kesehatan programme amounting to nearly Rp 1 trillion per year, was highlighted. Therefore, ongoing support from the West Java Provincial Government is expected to strengthen health service capacity in the region.
The Bogor Regency Government also expressed its readiness to continue collaborating in determining development priorities. With a directed division of roles, it is hoped that strategic programmes at both regency and provincial levels can run more optimally and provide broad benefits to the community.
Synergy between the regency and provincial governments is the key to driving the success of regional development. “The success of Bogor Regency is part of the success of West Java. We are ready to continue strengthening collaboration for the best services to the community,” said Regent Rudy.
On the same occasion, the Regent of Bogor also signed the paripate of the Cooperation Agreement (PKS) on Health Financing Synergy in West Java Province to improve access and quality of health services for the community in West Java Province.
